Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Lenz ("we", "our", "us") for using the Lenz app. By creating an account or using Lenz, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Lenz Does

Lenz connects to your Gmail and automatically finds the useful stuff — bills, renewals, receipts, coupons and anything else with money attached — then pulls out the key details (like amounts and due dates) and shows them in one tidy dashboard. It's designed to help you keep track of your money and never miss a payment.

Who Can Use Lenz

• You need to be at least 13 years old.
• You need your own Google account, and the right to connect it to Lenz.
• You're responsible for keeping your device and your account secure.

Connecting Your Google Account

To do its job, Lenz asks your permission to read your Gmail. When you sign in with Google, you grant Lenz read-only access (a permission Google calls gmail.readonly) — this lets Lenz look at your emails, but never send, delete, or change them.

You're always in control of this access. You can remove Lenz from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by deleting your account inside the app. How we handle the information we access is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Using Lenz Responsibly

When you use Lenz, please don't:

• Use it for anything unlawful, or to break Google's terms.
• Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the app or our systems.
• Try to access anyone else's account or data.
• Copy, scrape, or resell any part of the service.

We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service in these ways.

Accuracy & No Financial Advice

Lenz uses automated tools (including AI) to read emails and pick out details like amounts and dates. This is a helpful convenience, but it isn't perfect — it can occasionally miss something, read it wrong, or file it in the wrong place.

Lenz is a helper, not financial, tax, or legal advice, and it isn't a substitute for your own records. For anything that matters — paying a bill, meeting a due date, checking an amount — please confirm the details in the original email or directly with the company. You're responsible for your own payments and financial decisions.

Service Availability

Lenz is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features at any time.

Your Content

Your emails and the information in them stay yours — we don't claim ownership of them. We only use the access you grant to run Lenz for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Ending Your Use

You can stop using Lenz whenever you like. Deleting your account in Settings permanently erases your information from our servers and disconnects Lenz from your Google account (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what's removed). We may also suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lenz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app — including missed payments, late fees, or decisions made based on information shown in Lenz. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited under the law that applies to you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll post the new version on this page with a fresh date at the top. If you keep using Lenz after a change, that means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Lenz is operated, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, except where the law that applies to you requires otherwise.
